Jennifer Lopez used gender-neutral pronouns to introduce her child Emme on the stage at LA Dodgers Foundation Blue Diamond Gala.
American singer and actress Jennifer Lopez introduced her 14-year-old child Emme using gender-neutral pronouns at the LA Dodgers Foundation Blue Diamond Gala held on Thursday in Los Angeles.
Lopez welcomed Emme on the stage and introduced the teen using ‘them/they’ pronouns. “The last time we performed together was in a big stadium like this and I ask them to sing with me all the time, and they won’t. So this is a very special occasion,” Lopez said.
“They are very, very busy, booked and pricey. They cost me when they come out. But they’re worth every single penny because they’re my favourite duet partner of all time. So if you will indulge me,” Lopez added.

The duo then serenaded the crowd with Christina Perri’s song A Thousand Years. The teen used a rainbow-coloured microphone and was dressed in a hot-pink outfit for the performance.

Emme Muniz is Jennifer Lopez’s child with her ex-husband Marc Anthony. Lopez divorced Anthony in 2014. The singer rekindled her romance with Ben Affleck in 2021 and got engaged to him earlier this year.
