Jennifer Aniston says her relationship with her body is growing healthier with age — showing that sometimes, the older you get, the more at ease you are in your own skin.
In an interview with Allure published Thursday, Aniston discussed how her relationship with her body has evolved over the years. The “Friends” actor, who turns 56 next month, shared that she’s in love with her body, embracing it as it is.
“We’ve got to love our bodies. It’s doing the best it can,” Aniston said. “It’s been with us since the day we started, so we can’t be too hard on it.”
The “Along Came Polly” actor also recalled a moment that helped her frame her thoughts about aging.
“I was working on a movie and there was an older man on set,” she told Allure. “I’d seen him on a couple of different jobs and he was just working, working, working. I go, ‘You are impressive. I mean, you just never stop.’ And he said, ‘I just don’t let the old man in.’”
