The JEE Main 2022 results were declared on July 11, 2022, and Mrinal Garg from Punjab has portrayed exemplary performance by securing AIR-1 in JEE Mains exam with a perfect score of 300/300.
Hailing from Bathinda, Mrinal, who loves playing guitar and cricket, took a keen interest in PCM. While in class 8th he decided to prepare for JEE and had a dream of pursuing Computer Science Engineering from IIT Mumbai.
Mrinal, who did his initial schooling at St Kabir Convent School, Bathinda, took coaching from Sri Chaitanya Academy, Chandigarh.
Mrinal said that he studied for 14 hours daily to crack the JEE Main exam and it was during the pandemic that he decided to prepare for the exams.
Mrinal’s father, Charanjit Garg, is a businessman, and his mother, Renu Bala, is a homemaker.
Mrinal, while talking to India Today, said that his biggest inspiration was his parents and mentors, but his elder brother Bhartesh Garg, who is pursuing an MBBS from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Jodhpur, inclined him towards studying science.
Mrinal followed a simple mantra to crack the JEE main exam. His mantra includes--interaction with teachers, less stress and main focus on NCERT books. And this is what he wishes the future aspirants to follow.
