The home of an NBA player was broken into and thousands of dollars worth of jewelry were taken.
NBA guard Talen Horton-Tucker had his Los Angeles home burglarized with the thieves making off with $170,000 worth of jewelry, according to TMZ.
Horton-Tucker was not at the property at the time of the break-in and a house sitter was the one who called the police upon discovering what had happened.
So far the crooks remain at large, but police are actively investigating the crime.
Part of the break-in was captured on camera, the report stated, and the footage showed the thief entering the property by hopping over the back fence and exiting by using one of the side yards.
It’s the second break-in to occur to an NBA player in the Los Angeles area this month after the home of former player Patrick Patterson was burglarized at the beginning of the month.
The first day of the rest of Daniel Jones’ dwindling time with the Giants arrived Wednesday, with Jones in the building, in the meetings, on the practice field (although not doing very much) and not at all part of the game plan for the next game, relegated to a non-participant role for the remainder of the season.
