Jauan Jennings block sparks fight in wild 49ers-Lions ‘MNF’ shootout
NY Post
The 49ers and Lions sure know how to put on an entertaining show for a game that meant nothing to either team.
On the first possession of a “Monday Night Football” shootout, 49ers budding receiver Jauan Jennings finished a block on Lions corner Terrion Arnold, and tempers erupted as Jennings was thrown into the stands.
Jennings initially escalated the incident by pushing Arnold into the endzone and onto the ground near the sideline wall.
The 49ers receiver got the better of the exchange between the two, but defensive playmaker Kerby Joseph came to Arnold’s rescue, flying in for a hit that sent Jennings into the stands.
With Jennings in the front row attempting to climb out, Arnold came in with a slap across the receiver’s facemask as multiple flags were thrown.
No one was thrown out of the game, and the penalties were offsetting.

The problem is the draft picks. That’s what makes Mikal Bridges’ up-and-down season a little extra problematic. Picks are always the great unknown. Picks are an abstract. Picks can be as valuable as your imagination allows them to be before the picks are actually … well, picked, until you know for sure, tangibly, the flesh-and-blood yield.
