World No. 1 all-rounder Jason Holder said it's been a strange transition for him after being relieved of captaincy's duties of the Test team earlier this year.
West Indies star Jason Holder said he is finding ways to move on after losing his Test captaincy earlier this year. While maintaining that there is going to be less pressure on him, Holder said it's been a strange transition after having led the West Indies team over the last 5 years. Kraigg Brathwaite has earned the trust of the selectors after he led West Indies to a heroic series victory in Bangladesh earlier this year. Several top cricketers, including Holder, were not available for the series due to Covid-19 restrictions. Even when Holder and other senior players returned for the Test series against Sri Lanka at home in March, the selectors kept faith in Brathwaite and appointed him as captain on a full-time basis.More Related News
