Jasmine Crockett Trolls GOP With Blunt Reminder About 'Fearless Leader' Trump

The Texas lawmaker called out Republicans for hypocrisy on law and order issues.
Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Tex.) called out Republican lawmakers for talking tough on law and order but refusing to hold President Donald Trump to that same standard.
Crockett pointed to the case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the Maryland man mistakenly deported to an El Salvador prison. A court ordered the Trump administration to “facilitate” his release and return to the United States, but Trump has refused.
Trump and his supporters have instead attacked Garcia and accused him of being a gang member. Garcia has denied that, and hasn’t been convicted of any crimes.
As Crockett noted, that’s in sharp contrast to the president.
“As far as I’m concerned, he’s a lot less criminal than the person that’s sitting in the White House ’cuz last time I checked, he doesn’t have any criminal convictions,” she said on MSNBC on Sunday. “I don’t even think he has any outstanding cases, versus the guy that still had cases pending when he was sworn in on January 20th and also has 34 felony convictions.”
