In an exclusive chat with IndiaToday.in, Jasmin Bhasin revealed that she is trying to enter Bollywood and OTT. This is the reason she has taken a conscious break from TV.
Jasmin Bhasin recently won hearts with her performance in the music video, Iss Baarish Mein, co-starring Shaheer Sheikh. The duo collaborated for the first time in the song, and their chemistry was loved by fans. Post her Bigg Boss 14 stint in 2020, Jasmin has consciously stayed away from television. In an exclusive chat with IndiaToday.in, the actress revealed that she's trying to enter Bollywood and OTT.
It's been a while since we saw Jasmin Bhasin back on TV. Talking about that, the actress said, "I am not intentionally taking a break. Post Bigg Boss 14, I got so busy with television that I stopped navigating my way through Bollywood and OTT. So I am giving myself some time to navigate through other platforms."
Asked if something stood out in her memory while she was shooting Iss Baarish Mein, the actress said, "Jaan bacha ke rail ki patri se bhagna! We were shooting on the rail tracks too and it was scary. The whole crew ran away and we were in the middle of it. We couldn't even run away. We hid in a small spot to save our lives and we prayed that the train zooms past us."
Talking about the response that her song, Iss Baarish Mein is getting, Jasmin said, "It is getting a great response because SaReGaMaPa has released it at the perfect time. The 'pehli baarish' (first rain) is here in Mumbai. Monsoon has started and at the same time, our song released. It is indeed the monsoon love anthem and it is going to be on top of everybody's playlist."
Jasmin loves the rainy season! She says, "I love going out for long drives when it rains. I would usually head to Lonavala, stop and eat bhajia in between. I love drinking tea and having vada pav in a tapri. It's the best feeling in the world. I love doing all that in the monsoon."
