
Janupur man provides free oxygen cylinders to patients, UP Police books him for violating Covid norms

A man who spent from his pocket to arrange cylinders for people scrambling for oxygen cylinders and beds outside a hospital in Jaunpur was booked by the UP Police for violating Covid norms.
The Uttar Pradesh Police on Saturday booked a man who was allegedly helping patients by giving oxygen cylinders to those unable to find hospital beds in the state’s Jaunpur district. The man, identified as Vicky Agrahari, was accused of violating Covid-19 safety protocols and was booked under sections 188 and 269 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 of The Epidemic Diseases Act. Amid a shortage of hospital beds and oxygen supplies in the state, Vicky reportedly came to the rescue of patients. On April 29, Vicky arranged oxygen cylinders for patients waiting outside the district hospital in Jaunpur. On a single day, Vicky said he provided oxygen cylinders to 25-30 patients at the hospital.More Related News
