A Delhi court has sent BJP leader Ashwini Upadhyay to judicial custody over communal slogans raised near Jantar Mantar on Sunday. Six people have been arrested in connection with the case.
Delhi's Patiala House court has sent BJP leader Ashwini Upadhyay and one other to two days in judicial custody. Two other accused - Deepak and Vineet - have been remanded to police custody for two days in connection with communal slogans raised near Jantar Mantar. The court has sought a response from the Delhi Police on Ashwini Upadhyay's bail plea by Wednesday. A bench is slated to hear the bail petition on the same day.More Related News
