Jan Sunwai in Delhi: Only 43 complaints related to garbage disposal, illegal construction filed on first day

At the first 'Jan Sunwai' hosted in Delhi by the civic bodies, only 43 complaints regarding garbage disposal, unauthorised construction, problems faced in getting licences and more were received.
On day one of the 'Jan Sunwai' campaign started by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), only 43 complaints were received on various issues and six were resolved on the spot.
Complaints regarding garbage disposal, unauthorized construction, illegal dumping of Malba, death certificate, education, licence, rainwater harvesting, GPF transfer, cell towers and more were registered by the residents.
Talking about the same, the Director of Press and information of MCD Amit Kumar said, "Slips issued by DC office and a manual visitor register is maintained to enter details which are being put in excel sheet. Plan afoot to link it with CRM software."
Delhi's LG Vinay Kumar Saxena has also directed the officials to conduct 'Jan Sunwai' between 12 PM to 1 PM every day. All the appointed officers should be present in the office between the given time.
