Jammu & Kashmir girl working in Hyderabad kills self; police launches probe

A 27-year-old woman, who was a native of Jammu and Kashmir, working in Hyderabad was found hanging in her flat on Wednesday afternoon. Police are yet to ascertain the reason for her death and have begun an investigation into the matter.
A 27-year-old woman from Jammu and Kashmir, who was working in Hyderabad, allegedly killed herself by hanging on Wednesday, June 1 at her flat in Nanakramguda.
The deceased woman, who was working with Amazon, hailed from the Samba district in Jammu & Kashmir. According to the Gachibowli Cyberabad police, she was taken to Sunshine Hospital by her friend Sachin Kumar and the medical officer present there declared that she was brought dead.
She had reportedly messaged one of her male friends informing him that she was committing suicide. Upon receiving the message, he rushed to the apartment and found it locked from the inside.
He called her roommate and, after opening the flat, found her hanging.
She had been residing in Sagar Gardenia apartments with two other women for the past one-and-half years. Her parents are in Jammu and Kashmir, and the reason for her death is yet to be ascertained.
Police have filed a case under Section 174 of the CrPC and have begun an investigation into the matter.
