The Jammu and Kashmir administration has decided to postpone the Class 11 exams in the region due to the surge in Covid-19 cases.
The Jammu and Kashmir administration has decided to postpone the J&K Class 11 annual exams for the academic session 2020-21 due to the sudden surge in Covid-19 cases in the region, announced Jammu and Kashmir Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha today. Apart from the postponement of the Class 11 exams due to the increase in Covid-19 cases in Jammu and Kashmir, the Lt. Governor has also announced that there will be a ceiling on gatherings and functions restricting to 100 persons from earlier 200. The exams were deferred shortly after the CBSE board exams for Class 10 were cancelled and Class 12 exams were postponed. It was also reported by India Today that social distancing norms were being violated at the examination centres in Jammu and Kashmir.More Related News
