Jamia Millia islamia constitutes vaccination camp committee

Jamia Millia Islamia(JMI) has constituted a Vaccination Camp Committee to organise Covid-19 vaccination camps for teaching and non-teaching employees of the university.

Jamia Millia Islamia(JMI) has constituted a Vaccination Camp Committee to organise Covid-19 vaccination camps for teaching and non-teaching employees of the university. The decision to constitute the committee was taken in the meeting of the committee of Deans of Faculties and other officials of the University on 07th April,2021. The committee considered the proposals of Jamia Teachers’ Association(JTA) and Jamia Administrative Staff Association(JASA) to arrange vaccination camps and authorized the Vice-Chancellor to constitute a Vaccination Camp Committee. Accordingly, Prof. Najma Akhtar, Vice-Chancellor, JMI constituted a ‘Vaccination Camp Committee’ comprising of the following: 1. Prof. Sanjay Singh, Dean, Faculty of Dentistry, JMI Chairman 2. Prof. Majid Jamil, President, Jamia Teachers’ Association, JMI 3. Dr. Irshad H. Naqvi, Chief Medical Officer, Dr. M.A. Ansari Health Centre, JMI 4. Mr. Nasim Ahmad, General Secretary, Jamia Administrative Staff Association, JMI 5. Assistant Registrar (Administration), JMI - Convenor
