Jaipur: Six arrested for robbing, killing a cab driver from Gurugram

The Gurugram police have arrested six gang members of an interstate gang from Jaipur for killing a cab driver.
Gurgram police busted an interstate gang for killing a 56-year-old cab driver and arrested six people from Jaipur.
As per the report by the Hindustan Times (HT), the six accused have been arrested from Muhana in Jaipur, Rajasthan, for killing a cab driver named Arjun on Saturday.
His body was found on the Southern Peripheral Road (SPR) in Badshahpur. The police have held the accused, identified as Vishal, Rekha, Vinod, Jeetu, Ravi and Rahul. The police revealed that these accused would hire vehicles and commandeer them after killing them.
They have been involved in two more murder and loot cases registered with the Sadar police station in Gurugram in 2021.
Police revealed that Arjun was shot in the head at a secluded spot near Mahipalpur, near Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi.
Gurugram Police PRO Subhash Boken was quoted as saying by HT, "Vishal and Rahul had hired him and said they wanted to travel to Gurugram. After killing Arjun, they travelled with the body till an intersection linking the National Highway NH-48 and the Southern Peripheral Road in Manesar and dumped it there. Thereafter, they fled to Jaipur with the car."
The suspects have been arrested under sections 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of an offence or giving false information to screen an offender), 302 (punishment for murder) and 379B (snatching after preparation made for causing death) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
