Jaguars extend leading tackler Foyesade Oluokun with deal worth $45 million
NY Post
The Jaguars extended linebacker Foyesade Oluokun, the team announced Friday, keeping him with the team through 2027.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the deal is worth $45 million, with a maximum value of up to $48 million and comes with $22.5 million guaranteed.
The Yale product had one season remaining on the three-year deal he signed in 2022.
In extending Oluokon, the Jaguars locked up one of the NFL’s premier tacklers.
The 28-year-old led the team with 173 tackles — 111 solo — last season, making him just the sixth player since 2000 to break 150 tackles in three straight seasons.
He led the league in tackles with the Falcons in 2021 and in the following season, his first with Jacksonville. His 549 tackles over that span are the most of any NFLer.
