J&K: Missing soldier’s body found in Budgam district

Three days after he went missing, the body of a soldier was found in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday.
Three days after he went missing from his village, the body of a soldier was recovered from the Khag area in Budgam on Thursday.
The soldier, identified as Sameer Ahmad Malla, went missing from his Lokipora village of Khag Budgam on Monday afternoon. His body was recovered on Thursday.
The body of the soldier from Jammu and Kashmir Light Infantry was recovered from Khag, a police officer said.
Sameer Ahmad Malla was posted in Jammu and was on leave as his wife had given birth to their second child recently.
