Leaders of Jammu and Kashmir People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (JKPGAD) met in Srinagar on Wednesday evening. The meeting, which took place at People's Democratic Party's (PDP) Mehbooba Mufti's residence, came amid rumours flying thick and fast about the probable re-organisation of the Union Territory. National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah, who is the president of the alliance, said, “They (central government) will do what they want. We have also heard the chatter but we are not aware of details. We pray everyone’s future will be kept safe. Delimitation issue is subjudice and Supreme Court's reply is awaited. We hope any court response will be read and considered. Then we shall decide.” READ: J&K: Gurez BDC chairperson, joins BJP; People's Conference inducts ex-PDP leadersMore Related News
