J&K: Forces rescue 60, including school children, from encounter site in Kulgam; 1 terrorist killed

A Hizbul Mujahideen commander was killed by the security forces in an encounter at Ashmunji area of Kulgam district in Jammu and Kashmir.

An encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in the Ashmunji area of Kulgam district in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday. According to the latest inputs, a Hizbul Mujahideen commander has been killed by the security forces while the encounter is still underway.
