The Indian Army on Saturday rescued 41 civilians stranded due to heavy rain on Mughal road which connects Jammu region with the Kashmir Valley.
The Indian Army on Saturday rescued several civilians including eight women and two children stranded due to heavy rain on Mughal road which connects Jammu region with the Kashmir Valley. On learning about the incident, Indian Army personnel swung into action and launched a rescue operation from Joint Check Post at KM-28. As many as 41 civilians were safely rescued in the three-hour-long operation. “The civilians were highly appreciative of the swift action of the Army which saved them from vagaries of weather and harsh terrain,” the army said.More Related News
