J&K: 2 injured, cash counter burnt as major fire breaks out at Vaishno Devi shrine complex

A major fire broke out at the Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine complex in J&K's Reasi district on Tuesday evening, destroying the cash counter. Two people were also injured in the incident.
A major fire broke out at the Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine complex in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday evening. A cash counter was damaged in the incident. The police, fire tenders and employees of the Shrine Board doused the fire before it could reach the adjacent buildings, after CRPF personnel raised an alarm. Two people, SHO Bhawan Suman Manhas and an employee of the Shrine Board, received minor burn injuries while dousing the blaze, officials said. The authorities are also assessing the damage.More Related News
