ITBP-run Covid care centre opens in Delhi, patients wait at gates as facility makes DSO nod mandatory

ITBP on Monday opened a 500-oxygen bed Covid care centre in Delhi. However, admission will be given to only those Covid-19 patients who can get a recommendation from the DSO or get approval from the SPCCC admission in-charge.
The Sardar Patel Covid Care Centre (SPCCC) in Delhi has issued new orders saying only those Covid-19 patients will be admitted to the facility who have prior permission from the District Surveillance Officer (DSO) of by the centre's authorities. ITBP opened the 500-oxygen bed Covid care centre, Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Covid Care Centre (SPCCC), on Monday in Delhi's Chhattarpur area. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal visited ITBP's Radha Soami Covid care facility on Monday and thanked the Union government for providing doctors and medical staff at the Covid facility. However, the Covid care facility has issued an order saying Covid-19 patients will be admitted at the ITBP-run facility only after being recommended by the district surveillance officers.
