It's too much, says Bhagwant Mann as Punjab Governor seeks details of assembly session

In 75 years, no Governor or President has asked for the details of an assembly session, said Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann after the Governor sought details of the special session.
The Punjab Governor has sought details of the legislative business to be taken up in the Assembly session on September 27, drawing a sharp reaction from Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and other Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders on Friday.
This development comes days after the Governor cancelled a special session, approved by the cabinet, to pass a confidence motion due to “absence of specific rules”. In retaliation, the state government has decided to summon a session on September 27. The government also said it will approach the Supreme Court over the Raj Bhavan move.
Gov/Presi consent before any session of Legislature is a formality. In 75 years, no Presi/Gov ever asked list of Legislative business before calling session. Legislative business is decided by BAC and speaker. Next Gov will ask all speeches also to be approved by him.its too much
