Israel Pummels Gaza As Assault Against Hamas Continues

Israeli forces continue to pummel Gaza, hitting the southern Gazan town of Khan Younis overnight with aerial bombing and tank fire. The fierce campaign, reports say, comes in advance of an anticipated advance into the town.
