Israel Hits Gaza With Airstrike After Hamas Rocket Attacks

Israel responded with an airstrike in Gaza and Israel's prime minister says fighting could continue for a while.

Palestinian officials say at least 20 people are dead in escalating violence in the Gaza strip. Israel is warning of a broader operation against Hamas – the group that controls the territory.  Hamas has been firing rockets into southern Israel throughout the day.
