Islanders acquire Devils’ Kyle Palmieri, Travis Zajac in pre-deadline deal
NY Post
Islanders general manager Lou Lamoriello made a deal with the Devils on Wednesday, acquiring veteran forwards Kyle Palmieri and Travis Zajac from his former team for a collection of draft picks and prospects, according to a press release.
The Devils landed the Islanders’ first-round pick in 2021, a conditional fourth-rounder in 2022 and minor-league forwards A.J. Greer and Mason Jobst. The trade between the two division rivals marks the first major move ahead of Monday’s 3 p.m. trade deadline, as the Islanders, tied for first place in the East Division, make another run at the Stanley Cup having fallen two games short last summer.More Related News

The preferred path to follow remains in place: Select a quarterback with the No. 3 pick in the draft. That is what the Giants hope will happen.
