Katrina Kaif's sister Isabelle Kaif was apparently offered a role in SS Rajamouli's magnum-opus, RRR. However, the actress refused to be a part of the film. Read exclusive details.
Filmmaker SS Rajamouli has created a storm at the box office with his latest film, RRR. The film, which had an opening of Rs 257 crore, has shattered many box office records in just 3 days. The film featured Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the key roles. In RRR, Alia Bhatt was paired opposite Ram Charan, whereas Olivia Morris was shown as Jr NTR's love interest. However, Olivia was not the first choice for RRR. The role was apparently first offered to Katrina Kaif's sister, Isabelle Kaif. But she refused to be a part of the movie.
An insider close to the movie informed IndiaToday.in, "Isabelle Kaif was offered the role of the foreigner, who is seen as Jr NTR's love interest in the film. The actress refused to do the film because she wanted the script and details of the movie."
Isabelle's loss turned out to be Olivia Morris' gain. For the unaware, Isabelle made her acting debut in Bollywood with Time To Dance. Unfortunately, the film did not work well at the box office. Coming back to RRR, the film has raked in Rs 500 crore globally.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box office report of Ram Charan and Jr NTR's movie RRR on Twitter. "#RRR is setting new BENCHMARKS... 500 cr [and counting]...
