Attacking Kangana Ranaut over her controversial remarks on the country’s independence struggle, DCW chief Swati Maliwal questioned the actor receiving a national award.
Delhi Commission for Women Chairperson Swati Maliwal slammed actor Kangana Ranaut over her remarks on the country’s independence.
The actor kicked off a storm on Thursday after stating at an event recently that India truly gained freedom in 2014, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government came to power, and described the country’s Independence in 1947 as “bheek”, or alms.
