Is Mrunal Thakur being considered for Jr NTR’s next movie? All we know

Mrunal Thakur is said to be in talks for Jr NTR’s next film titled NTR 30. There’s, however, no official word on the same.

Mrunal Thakur recently made her Tollywood debut with Sita Raman, which opened in theatres on August 5. The film, featuring her as the leading lady opposite Dulquer Salmaan, received positive reviews and emerged as a success. Now, here is another exciting news for her fans. Mrunal is said to be in talks to star opposite Jr NTR in his upcoming film NTR 30. There's, however, no official confirmation on the same. NTR 30 is an action entertainer, written and directed by Koratala Siva.

Mrunal Thakur, who has acted in popular Hindi movies such as Toofaan and Jersey, impressed fans with her work in her first Tollywood movie, Sita Ramam. The star may soon sign her second Telugu movie. According to reports, Mrunal is being considered for NTR 30. The flick marks Jr NTR's second collaboration with Koratala Siva after Janatha Garage (2016). NTR 30 may prove to be a game changer for her as NTR is touted to be a pan-India movie.

On the work front, Mrunal Thakur is awaiting the release of Pippa. The war drama features her as the female lead opposite Ishaan Khatter. The film is directed by Raja Menon, who emerged as a force to reckon with when he directed Akshay Kumar’s Airlift. Mrunal also has Aankh Micholi, Gumraah, and Pooja Meri Jaan in her kitty.

Jr NTR, on the other hand, was last seen in SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR. The period drama featured Ram Charan as the parallel lead and emerged as a massive hit. It had a star-studded cast that included Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, and Olivia Morris, among others.

Besides NTR 30, NTR also has a film with Prashanth Neel in his kitty. The biggie is likely to go on floors once the KGF director wraps up Salaar, starring Prabhas. He may also collaborate with Buchi Babu Sana, who made his debut as a director with Uppena, for a film.
