Is Kartik Aaryan going to replace Akshay Kumar in Housefull 5? The Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor reacts.

Kartik Aaryan is basking in the glory of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2's success. The actor's horror-comedy film has raked in over Rs 130 crore at the box office. After the terrific success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, it was reported that Kartik had hiked his fee to Rs 35-40 crore. However, the actor rubbised the rumour about his fee hike. After he did the same, an entertainment portal reported that Kartik would replace Akshay Kumar in Housefull 5.

An entertainment portal recently reported that Kartik would replace Akshay in Housefull 5 after he did so in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise. While Akshay was seen in the first part of BB, Kartik acted in the second installment. Coming back to the Housefull 5 rumour, Kartik rubbished it by giving a karara reply on Twitter.

Quashing the rumour of replacing Akshay in Housefull 5, Kartik Aaryan wrote, "Koi mujhse bhi poochega meri agli picture kaunsi hai? Baseless. (Will anyone even bother to ask me what my next film is) (sic)."

On the movie front, the actor has completed shooting for Freddy. The film has been produced by Ekta Kapoor. It is romantic thriller which is touted to be packed with unpredictable twists and sharp turns. It has been directed by Shashanka Ghosh. Besides this movie, the actor has filmmaker Hansal Mehta's film, Captain India, in the pipeline. Kartik will also be seen in Shehzada, which is the Hindi remake of Allu Arjun's hit Telugu movie, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.
