IRE vs IND 2nd T20I Live Score Updates: Focus on Umran Malik as India look to clinch series sweep
India vs Ireland, 2nd T20I, Live Score Updates: Deepak Hooda was at his scintillating best as he registered his maiden T20I century in the ongoing second T20I against Ireland. Samson had scored 77 and his innings was finally ended in the 17th over by Mark Adair. Earlier, Hooda had brought up his 50 in the 10th over of the innings and Sanju Samson also brought up the landmark and the duo had put on more than 100 runs for the second wicket and they stitched together a stand of 176 which is India's highest-ever T20I partnership. After opting to bat, India got off to a bad start as the side lost Ishan Kishan in just the third over of the innings. Ishan scored just 3. Earlier, India opted to bat first against Ireland in the second and final T20I at The Village, Dublin on Tuesday. Hardik Pandya called it right at the toss and said that conditions would be good for batting. Sanju Samson replaced Ruturaj Gaikwad, Harshal Patel replaced Avesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi was included in place of Yuzvendra Chahal as India looks to test its bench strength. The guests, who lead the two-match series 1-0, would eye a series sweep, while Ireland aim to end the series 1-1. Weather at Malahide in Dublin will be in focus as the first match was reduced to 12-overs-a-side due to rain. It is expected to be cloudy again but fans and players would hope that rain stays away. In the first game, the Indian batters were right on the money but the bowlers failed to meet the expectations. The second T20I gives them a chance to improve their performance. (LIVE SCORECARD)
