Maharashtra's seniormost IPS officer Sanjay Pandey has finalised his plea to be filed before the Bombay High Court, challenging the state’s decision to appoint him as DG, Maharashtra State Security Corporation, while overlooking other top posts.
Maharashtra's seniormost IPS officer Sanjay Pandey has finalised his plea to be filed before the Bombay High Court, challenging the state’s decision to appoint him as DG, Maharashtra State Security Corporation, while overlooking other top posts. Pandey said in the plea that he is challenging the attempt to sideline and praying that the government be directed to consider his appointment to the post of Director General of Police (DGP) in Maharashtra. He has raised the issue of his seniority in the plea and said that it is a violation of a 2006 judgment. The IPS officer has also highlighted the Bombay High Court ruling in Anamika Roy vs S Chakravarty case.More Related News
