IPL Auction 2023 Live Updates: New records have been set at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 auction with three-most expensive buys ever. England all-rounder Sam Curran and Australia all-rounder Cameron Green were picked for Rs 18.50 crore and Rs 17.50 crore respectively by Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians. On the other hand, England Test captain Ben Stokes was picked by Chennai Super Kings for Rs 16.25 crore. Nicholas Pooran got the highest-ever price for a West Indies player as Lucknow Supergiants sercured him after making a whopping bid of Rs 16 crore. The day started with Harry Brook going to Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 13.25 crore. SRH also bought Mayank Agarwal For Rs 8.25 crore. Among the surprise millionaires today, paver Shivam Mavi was picked by Gujarat Titans for Rs 6 crore while Mukesh Kumar was picked by Delhi Capitals for Rs 5.50 crore.
