RR vs LSG, IPL 2022: Report | Highlights
Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul was ducked by Rajasthan Royals bowler Trent Boult, which happened for the second time this season, as the same happened in the opening game against Gujarat Titans. While speaking to the broadcasters after the match, LSG captain KL Rahul shared that Boult bowled a good ball.
“I didn't see it (the ball that got him from Boult), if I did I could have done something about it. Have to give it to him. Was a good ball.”
LSG batters Krishnappa Gowtham and captain KL Rahul were dismissed early (1-2) in the game, and LSG did not have a good partnership going for them in the chase from the start.
“We have a good team, and have enough options with bat and ball. Even when we were 20-odd for three, we knew we had a chance. Obviously, today we needed one good partnership which we never got going.”
