IPL 2022: RPSG owner Sanjiv Goenka reveals plans for players for Lucknow team - Make do with what we have

IPL 2022: Speaking to India Today, RPSG Group owner Sanjiv Goenka said he is delighted to have a new IPL team in Lucknow, saying the state of Uttar Pradesh had been waiting to have an IPL team of its own for quite some time.

Sanjiv Goenka, the owner of RPSG Group, on Monday, said his new Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise will be willing to make the most of the resources available when it comes to player availability for the next season of the premier T20 tournament.

On Monday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced successful bidders for two new franchises of IPL. The next season will be a 10-team affair with 74 matches as two new teams based out of Lucknow and Ahmedabad were announced.
