Rajasthan Royals’ explosive middle order batsman, Shimron Hetmyer, has urgently left the Indian Premier League for the birth of his first child. Hetmyer and his wife Nirvani are set to welcome their first kid together.
Rajasthan Royals posted in the early hours of Sunday, 8 May that the Guyanese cricketer has flown back to his country, but will join back with the Royals’ squad for the remainder of the message.
Rajasthan uploaded a video of his departure where Hetmyer’s teammates were showering wishes on him on this joyous occasion. Hetmyer told the camera that the babies are born only once - the reason he has chosen to be with his wife and family in these hours.
