IPL 2022 Auction: The BCCI on February 1 announced the full list of shortlisted players who will go under the hammer on February 12 and 13 in Bengaluru. Rs 2 core is the highest reserve price and as many as 48 players have chosen to place themselves in this bracket
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday, February 1 announced the complete shortlist of players who will be going under the hammer during the IPL 2022 auction, which will be held in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13. A total of 590 players have been shortlisted as 10 teams will enter the auction to finalize their squads for the 15th season of the tournament, which is likely to get underway from the final week of March.
Among the 590 players, 28 are capped players, 355 are uncapped players and 7 belong to Associate Nations.
Rs 2 core is the highest reserve price and as many as 48 players have chosen to place themselves in this bracket. There are 20 players in the auction list with a reserve price of INR 1.5 crore while 34 players are in the list of cricketers with a reserve price of INR 1 crore.
The BCCI also has identified 10 marquee players for the IPL 2022 auction.

While some big names, including Chris Gayle and Ben Stokes have made themselves unavailable for the IPL 2022 auction, there is going to be a fierce battle to buy the 102 players who are in the top 3 price brackets.
A total of 370 Indian players and 220 overseas players will be up for grabs.
