IPL 2021: BCCI COO Hemang Amin, in a letter addressed to the franchises, said assured cricketers that the board will make sure each one of them return to their destinations safely after the end of the tournament even as a few players withdrew from IPL due to the ongoing Covid-19 crisis in India.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday lauded cricketers for carrying on and putting up a show despite the ongoing Covid-19 crisis in India and promised that safe return will be assured for all the players and support staff after the end of the tournament in May. BCCI's message to the players comes after as many as 3 Australian players withdrew from IPL 2021 due to personal reasons amid the Covid-19 crisis.
