IPL 2021: Would love to play for SunRisers Hyderabad in 2022 but time will tell, says David Warner

IP L2021: Speaking to Sports Today, David Warner explained his Instagram post wherein he thanked SunRisers Hyderabad and his teammates after a rickety run in the season. Warner said he is looking forward to playing the IPL in 2022, adding that he has still plenty to offer for a franchise.

Australian cricket star David Warner has said he is unsure of what the future holds for him in the Indian Premier League (IPL) but added that he would love to represent SunRisers Hyderabad again in the next season. Warner had a difficult stint with the former champions in IPL 2021 wherein he played only 8 matches as the team finished the wooden spoon.

Speaking exclusively to India Today Sports, Consulting Editor, Boria Majumdar for Sports Today, David Warner said only time will tell where he will be headed in the next chapter of his IPL journey. However, Warner stressed that nothing is in his hands, highlighting that two new teams are going to be be part of the next season's tournament.
