IPL 2021: Rajasthan Royals (RR) captain Sanju Samson after his team's 7-wicket defeat to Mumbai Indians (MI) said that batsmen need to perform more. He also talked about a "process" which Rajasthan is looking to follow.
After 7-wicket defeat against defending champion Mumbai Indians (MI) on Thursday, Rajasthan Royals (RR) captain Sanju Samson said that his team was 20-25 runs short of the total they should have achieved. Rajasthan lost only four wickets but could put up only 171 runs on the board after being asked to bat first. Jos Buttler, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson scored a good strike rate but Shivam Dube, RR's number 4, scored 35 off 31. He also failed to take the charge and finish off his team's innings on a high after the departure of Samson in the 18th over. The 2008 champions have failed to click together as a batting unit this season. Bowlers have been impressive and Samson also agrees to it, but the 26-year-old captain has urged his batsman to perform "a little more".More Related News
