IPL 2021: Was worried about my technique after getting dropped in Australia, says DC star Prithvi Shaw

IPL 2021: Young Delhi Capitals opener Prithvi Shaw attributed his return to form to technical corrections, adding that head coach Ricky Ponting has been giving him the freedom to play his natural game at the top of the order.
Prithvi Shaw has opened about his return to form after having been dropped from India side during a 4-Test series against Australia in December last year, saying he started worrying about his technique that was seemingly letting him down Down Under. Prithvi Shaw played the series-opening Test in Adelaide but the young opener was bowled for 0 and 4 in two innings. Shaw struggled against the moving ball and paid the price for trying to drive against Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc. However, the Mumbai batsman stormed back to form in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 50-over tournament, breaking the record for most runs scored in a season -- 827 in 8 matches which included 2 hundreds. Shaw said he made a small technical adjustment that has helped him overcome the difficulty he was facing earlier in the season.More Related News
