IPL 2021: Virat Kohli to join RCB on April 1, Yuzvendra Chahal among 11 at training camp in Chennai

Indian Premier League: While Virat Kohli is all set to join Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 1, the former finalists have begun preparation for IPL 2021 with a 9-day conditioning camp in Chennai.

India and Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli will join the franchise in Chennai on April 1 and undergo a mandatory 7-day quarantine period before starting training for Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. Virat Kohli, unlike quite a few other India stars, did not opt for bubble-to-bubble transfer after the completion of the ODI series against England. Kohli has taken a bubble break and was seen spending time at his home on Monday. Notably, Kohli had spoken about the impact of being in bio-bubbles for long in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, saying different players react to the bubble environment differently.
