IPL 2021: Teams who have made home grounds as fortress will be at a disadvantage, says AB de Villiers
India Today
Royal Challengers Bangalore star AB de Villiers is of the opinion that not having the home advantage in IPL 2021 will balance out the tournament this year.
Royal Challengers Bangalore vice-captain AB de Villiers feels those teams who have a good record only on their home ground will find the going very tough in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. The home and away factor has been taken out once again this season as IPL 2021 is being played only in 6 cities across India - Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata. One of the highlights of this edition will be the fact that all matches will be played at neutral venues, no team will play at their home venue. Each team is set to play at 4 venues during the league stage. Out of the 56 league matches, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru will host 10 matches each while Ahmedabad and Delhi will host 8 matches each.More Related News
