IPL 2021: A total of 4 players tested positive for Covid-19 within 48 hours as the 14th edition was postponed on Tuesday.

IPL 2021 was postponed on Tuesday after 4 players involved in the tournament tested positive for Covid-19 in their team bio-bubbles within 48 hours. Earlier, several foreign players including the likes of Adam Zampa and Kane Richardson left the tournament midway and escaped to their countries as Covid cases continued to surge in India. The 30th league match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Monday was rescheduled after two players part of one of the squad tested positive for the deadly virus.
