IPL 2021: Shimron Hetmyer revelling in finisher role for Delhi Capitals, 'Really enjoying the challenge'

Shimron Hetmyer has excelled as a finisher for Delhi Capitals while predominantly playing in the top order for the West Indies, most recently leading the franchise to the top of the IPL table with an unbeaten 28 off 18 balls against Chennai Super Kings.
Shimron Hetmyer said that he is enjoying the role of finisher that has been entrusted on him by the Delhi Capitals (DC) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Guyanese batsman, who plays in the top order for the West Indies, has scored 159 runs at a strike rate of a whopping 180.68 in 10 innings while playing mostly in the lower middle order for DC this season.
"Very important for me to finish games," said Hetmyer after DC's win against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Monday, which helped them climb to the top of the table.
