IPL 2021: With the loan window in the ongoing season starting on Monday, Rajasthan Royals are looking to loan players from other franchises as several of the overseas stars have pulled out due to injuries and personal reasons.
Former champions Rajasthan Royals have written to other Indian Premier League franchises, urging them to loan players at Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 as they have been hit by overseas stars pulling out due to personal reasons in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. Rajasthan Royals lost star pacer Jofra Archer to an injury well ahead of the new season. All-rounder Ben Stokes also pulled out with a finger injury he picked up in their opening match of IPL 2021. Meanwhile, England batsman Liam Livingstone left the team due to personal reasons last week and it was followed by fast bowler Andrew Tye heading back to Australia. With the IPL 2021 loan window getting underway on Monday, Rajasthan have approached other franchises to loan them players. The loan window closes at the end of the league stages of the season.More Related News
