IPL 2021: Punjab Kings unveil new jersey, to sport golden helmets in new season

Indian Premier League 2021: After unveiling their new jersey, KL Rahul-led Punjab Kings announced they would be donning golden helmets in the upcoming season. Punjab begin their campaign against Rajasthan Royals on April 12 in Mumbai.

Punjab Kings are going for a complete revamp for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 season. After getting their franchise name changed, the former finalists have gone for a new look jersey. The primary colour for the jersey will continue to be red, with golden stripes forming the edges of the design, while the crest of a lion will also be sported below the primary sponsor logos. Punjab Kings also announced that they would be wearing golden helmets in IPL 2021. They will join the likes of Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore who have sported golden helmets over the last few years.
