IPL 2021: Former KKR captain Gautam Gambhir said his only regret from his successful stint as captain of the Kolkata-based franchise is not using Suryakumar Yadav at No. 3. The Mumbai batsman joined MI in 2018 after spending 4 seasons with KKR.

Former Kolkata Knight Riders captain Gautam Gambhir said he regrets losing Suryakumar Yadav to Mumbai Indians, especially after having groomed the Mumbai batsman for 4 years between 2014 and 2017.

Gambhir highlighted that Suryakumar Yadav has gone on to become one of the mainstays for Mumbai Indians and India in the shortest format of the game and that he is at the peak of his prowess now.
