Mumbai Indians on Saturday completed their highest-ever chase in the history of the Indian Premier League when Kieron Pollard came up with a blistering 34-ball 87 out, hitting 8 sixes at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. MI gunned down 219 to stop CSK’s 5-match winning run in the ongoing season of IPL 2021. Ambati Rayudu (72 not out), Moeen Ali (58) and Faf du Plessis (50) dominated the Mumbai Indians bowling attack to give CSK their highest-ever total against MI. However, it was not enough as Pollard single-handedly unleashed a six-hitting carnage in Delhi after Rohit Sharma (35) and Quinton de Kock (38) stitched a quickfire 71-run opening stand.
