IPL 2021: I will convince MS Dhoni to play for one more year if we win, says CSK star Suresh Raina

Chennai Super Kings legend Suresh Raina pledged his future to the franchise and said that he will continue playing for the franchise in the IPL till the time MS Dhoni is there to lead the 3-time champions.

Chennai Super Kings veteran Suresh Raina has vowed to convince his captain MS Dhoni to play one more year of cricket in the Indian Premier League if they win the title when the postponed 2021 season resumes in the United Arab Emirates in September. CSK, who endured their worst IPL season in 2020, roared back to form this year and were second on the IPL 2021 table with 5 wins from 7 games before the season was suspended due to the second wave of Covid-19 in India. The tournament will therefore, be played in the UAE once again starting from the third week of September.
